Hey there, I just bought this 1988 whaler drive outrage 22. It's getting repowered. The height of the whaler drive transom is 26.25". I'm wondering if anyone here has put a 25" or 30" shaft outboard on this boat and can recommend a shaft length.

The Outrage 22 WD takes 25" shaft engine in both single and twin configurations.

For twin engines, the engines should be mounted as high as possible.

Do not install a 30" shaft engine.
