Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Montauk 170 with 90 HP Merc as a Ski boat?

Any experience with a 90 HP Merc on a Montauk 170 pulling a water skier or tube? Am selling mine due to skin cancer issues and a potential buyer was asking about ability to tow a skier as a secondary use.

Not an issue.

Install a Turbo Swing
https://turboswing.com/

Install a 4 bladed prop in 2" less pitch than you have now.
Either a Spitfire 4, Trophy Plus or PowerTech SCD4.
