Hi Everyone.

Advice needed.

I'm going to look at an older 17' Katama, that's several hours away.

Engine is not working.

My only concern is water in the hull, since it's an older hull.

Would a MOISTURE METER work in determining if it's water logged in places?

Should I request if be placed in the water, to see how it sits in the water? If so, how deep should the stern go down? Should I stand on the extreme corner of the stern and measure freeboard? How much should I expect to measure?
