I have a 1999 Outrage with a Honda BF150 , its a great boat and in great shape. This model is heavy enough that a 200 would be my first choice , how ever its top speed is low 40's and cruises at 28 -30 at about 4900 rpm as is.
I installed trim tabs but even so in 2-3 footers it pounds and is wet. I had a Tiara Pursuit 2100 WA back in the day and it had a great ride , it did however like to bow steer.
I would like some thing a bit softer running , but would like to stay under or at 5000 lbs tow weight. I think i'm at about 4500 lbs now. Any idea's ? It doesn't have to be a whaler but it does have to be a CC or DC.
