Are the specialty marine stainless steel fixtures (lifting eyes/bow light) worth purchasing? My original chrome over brass are hammered. The local chrome guy says get replacement vs have them re-chromed. anyone tried the SM stainless stuff? Ive kinda read that they might not be great but my chrome-ware is in bad shape. Thanks.
