I have a igloo 54 the mounts are already on the boat. They had strap that clipped together they have torn apart. What is the best way to hold the cooler down. i do not want to replace the mount I think they came with the boat when it was new. They are U mounts on just the two side of the cooler with a. I I have a picture.

Unscrew the cleats on the deck and replace the bungie cord. Sold by the foot in a local hardward store. C hook to the hole in the center of the handle base.
Seal the cleat holes on reassembly with Boat Life and not adhesive.
