Your photo looks like you already have Specialty replacement lights, probably installed by previous owner. The white stripe wires give it away.
Do the light covers have the "points" on them? If so, they are the Specialty versions, which are a copy of the original, early version of the WC lights. The original Whaler lights on your 1989 boat, a later design version by Wilcox-Crittenden, did not. The WC lights have not been available new for over 20 years.
