Looking for your help. At 14 years old, I owned 1969 Sakonnet. My Dad bought this boat directly from the factory in Norwell, MA. It was used at the New York and Boston boat shows that year. My Dad’s best friend (Dick Gordon) was an engineer at Boston Whaler and made the arrangements to sell it to us. I absolutely loved that boat. Stupidly, I sold it 8 years later to a guy in Braintree, MA and lost track of it for the last 40+ years. But an interesting event occurred while going through some of my (passed) Dad’s belongings…I found the original Massachusetts registration MS 1706V. On the registration is the hull number, and I am now in the hunt to find her. Anyone who owns, or knows of, a 16 foot hull with the number 3A0923 stenciled on the transom…I would love to talk with you. I promised my wife I would not buy another boat…but this is my only mulligan I got left with her. So please…help me find 3A0923.
