Hi- new to the forum and this is my first post. I need a new trailer for my 1981 Montauk 17. i bought the boat and trailer 8 years ago and fish in the SF bay area (Lakes, Delta, Bay, and Ocean). I absolutely love it! Unfortunately had a mishap today and dropped the trailer hitch about a foot. I now have visible crack on the tongue back by the spare tire. I think it's too far gone for a weld job so I'm going to get a replacement trailer. Question is what is the procedure? if i buy on line do they deliver to my house? What to you do to get ride of old trailer? Any advice would be appreciated!
