Trailers are designed for boat length, width and weight, not specific models.

The key measurement is the length from the bow stop roller to the last crossmember. It should be a minimum of ~16'3 to a max of 17'3.

The transom of the boat should be over the rear cross member.

The bow stop should be resting on the top of the bow eye with the winch strap going under the bow roller.

Keel rollers are good.

The boat is placed on the keel rollers and the side bunks are placed ~ 2 ft off center to balance the boat side to side. The bunks do not support the boat.

What specific input are you asking for? List it.

Keep in mind a trailer with a rating of 3500lbs may have springs that are too stiff for the Montauk and the ride could be jarring.

Post a photo of the trailer.
