Found this on Letgo while searching for a 40HP engine and it was too good to pass up! Everything is original and in terrific shape. Bought from the original owner and he took really good care of it and always kept it covered. 1971 Sport with Johnson 40HP. Other than the springs on the trailer snapping just before i was getting ready to pull away and checking to see if all was snug and started to shake the boat and heard a snap. I shook again and heard the tire rubbing on the fender and checked to see why it was sitting so low and there I noticed not only one but both springs were broken. Thank God it didn't happen going down the highway at 65 MPH. I was able to find replacement springs and got them installed and no issues coming home. Can't wait to get it cleaned up, running and back on the water!
