It was a great season with the new motor on the boat. We put 40 hours on for the season last year & the old boat runs fast! Topping out at 40 mph at about 5600 rpm. I did not reinstall the jack plate & couldn't be happier about it. Also mounted the motor up a little. The boat planes off so much faster than it did with the plate. She's nearly done now. Everything is new & strong on her again. Only thing left now really is to get the 30-40 coats of bottom paint off the hull. Ugh, I think I'll get in a bit of spring fishin first. Happy 2019 season.
