Hi All

I’m hoping that you can help me. I acquired a 1990 outrage 20 last year. I trailer the boat and I have been cursing the lack of drain bung. I also wondered why the decks where not self draining as they are clearly above the water line.

Please excuse my ignorance here but in the aft starboard corner there is a small sump with a bulge pump in. At the bottom of this sump is what appears to be the remains of a rubber drain bung. Firstly can someone please confirm that this is a drain hole? And secondly can the boat be operated with this plug out? What are the pros and cons of this.
