My dad lost a long battle with cancer and left me with his beloved 1966 Sport 13. I have so many memories growing up with this boat along the Gulf coast of Alabama. The boat sat in his back yard for years in a state of disrepair after he became sick. When I received the boat, the outboard was completely locked up so I gave it to a junk yard for scrap. Then I began my work to bring our little Whaler back to life. I found a nice 2005 Tohatsu 40 for repower. After many weeks and lots of hard work, I was able to make her back whole again. I plan on making many more memories in this Whaler with my family. I think my dad would be proud.

Sorry to hear about your dad but kudos to you for keeping his Whaler alive. That boat should last you the rest of your boating life.
