Today I took my 1990 Outrage 19 out on the water for the first time. I am amazed at the boat I now own and that some of you already enjoy. The Honda 130 is amazingly quiet, responsive, and smooth. The boat has an amazing ride and is so very different from all of the "deep-V" hulled boats I have owned. It is dry, stable, and has such a comfortable ride.

I won't bore you with details, but I just had to share my experience. After three weeks of "fixing" items that had been neglected or incorrectly fixed over the years, it was just so much better than I had expected. I want to thank all that have provided the resources for me to get to this point.

(EDIT: please follow guidelines at the top of this page)

I have just realized I have owned my Outrage 18 for 6 years. Not a fish has hit the deck during my ownership. Best little cocktail cruiser ever! It has been fun fixing it up and everyone is impressed by the handling and ride for a boat of this size. Everyone knows this boat isn't leaving my hands anytime soon. Enjoy your journey.

I have owned a 13' Whaler before, but this boat is much different.

Even though the Whaler has a reputation, it is almost like a "secret handshake society" where the real truth is kept among its owners. I know I couldn't be happier with the performance of this boat.

Thanks for sharing your experience Gnuse. A proper reward for following through with the upgrades and worthy beginning to many years' piloting one of the soundest hulls ever built. Have a ball and keep the wet side down!
