Boating in the open ocean i made some preparations and modifications.
1-installed a 22gal fuel tank under the seat.
2-Installed water fuel separator
3-Built a transom to hold a 6.8hp auxiliary motor
4-Safety gear includes spare marine radio, EPRB beacon, portable lithium ion jump start battery, flares, tools, etc..

We are on our own out here and well outside radio range.
