Hi, I recently purchased a Whaler Montauk 17, have the boat in the garage and will slowly do some cleaning and minor touch ups over the Winter. I came across some brackets mounted on each side of the boat near the stern, but cannot find any information online as to what they are used for and whether they are stock Whaler or aftermarket. My guess would be supports for a bench seat, would anyone know? Picture attached.
