Does anyone know where I can find plans to build a rear bench seat for my 1989 Montauk? Or does anyone know where I can find one to purchase that would fit a 17' Classic Hull? Ideas options welcome - Thank you.

I have a similar question. Does someone make a removable bench? I want to use the boat to fish and sometimes take to beaches

Take a look at Ron Mazcko's Personal Page ("dreams do come true") of his 1993 Montauk 17. Ron made his own stern seat that also works as a platform.

Wow, that's impressive. Thanks for sharing that.

I have had thoughts about trying to find / repurpose a teak swim platform from a derelict boat but haven't acted on it.
