Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Repower Concern with Max Weight

I'm considering repowering my rig. The tag states 225HP max, but if I go with any of the 4 strokes, weight goes up about 100 lbs more than my current 1997 225 EFI Mercury. Is weight an issue?
