My Outrage bottom was painted with bottom paint that I want to remove. The boat is always trailered and won't stay in the water for longer than I am using it. Any suggestions for paint removal, prep and repainting? What type primer and paint brand and type? If recoating with bottom paint is only option, what type and brand? Boomerang206. Thanks for feedback!

Not knowing what the original is you might start with an environmental friendly paint remover like "Citristrip" or "Dumont" paint stripper.
You might be surprised that the original job was just painted over the gel coat and therefore after removal some high >5000 up sanding could give you a nice finish with buffing and waxing.
Start with the stripper on her. (I mean paint and boat, lol)

Depends on the condition of the underlying hull and the thickness of the bottom painted layers. Mild stripping / paint removers may remove a lot. Might take some fine sanding as EJO mentions to get final.
I just did all this work on my 17 Montauk, Once all the paint is removed you might find some necessary hull repairs to do. Then a barrier coat might be a good idea.
I used products from Quantum99, but their are others from Interlux,, Total Boat and others.
