Can anyone tell me the correct fuel cap / mechanical gauge replacement assembly for my white Moeller tank under the Montauk RPS (22 gallon I think). The one in there is a Kelch. Is moves freely but the float doesn't seem to want to float any longer. I'm thinking it is a 12", 2 1/4, vented but would like to know for sure.

I would call Moeller Customer Service at 1-800-432-8344 from 8-4:40 Central time and ask them.

The tank part # 031626

Let us know the part # and where you get the replacement.

I got this reply to an email sent to Moeller:

"Thank you for contacting Moeller Marine. The part number you need is 305194 and it will replace your cap/gauge. You can special order this through one of our distributors such as West Marine. "

I have not placed an order yet.
