Hello. I just bought a 99 outrage 21, with a soft sub floor. On this boat, the entire floor including the fish boxes comes out as one piece. The problem Im having is the drains on the fish boxes. It has the thru-hull drain, as well as the horizontal drains. I dont know how to remove them to get the floor out. Has anyone done this? Thanks!

On Boston Whaler's site, under Owners/Resources you can view, download copies of diagrams and parts lists.

For your model there are many. Here are some that may help your specific issues:

I'm pretty sure if you look inside the fish box, up towards the deck you will see the actual box is not attached. The "well" of the fish box is part of inner hull. That deck comes up just like you see in the PDF.

At least it appears that way on my 1999 21 Outrage.

Duane,
Thanks for that...I just saw where you are correct. What about the 2 drains that drain out back? How do I unscrew or remove those to get the floor out?

Contort your upper body into the opening on the port side or in the seat well on the right and you will see the 1.5" hoses attached to the deck drains.

If "I" was pulling the deck I would just cut the hoses and replace them when the deck is reinstalled.
