Dave Buckalew replaced his deck lid on his Outrage 18 and finished it with teak veneer planks. Impressive.

In looking at a used boat, I go by condition. How does it look?

Is the bottom paint faded? Water line straight?
Are there rust stains on the fittings?
Sun fading?
Is the gelcoat shiny or dull?
Torn cushions?
