I have the Suzuki 90 4-stroke 2013. 341 lbs and that works fine but I wouldn't put much havier motor on the 17 hull. Etec 90 is 320 lbs I think so not much defferance, but the 4-stroke smells less :).
My opinion is that the boat rides really good, espesially when loaded quite heavy.
With 4 audults and 4 kids it rides really smoth at 25-30 knots.
