Hi - I've got a 1989 22' Revenge that I am looking to get a new anchor for. The person I bought it from only had a small (8lb, I think) Danforth anchor. I am going to get a new "Bruce" anchor for the whaler, as I had the same type for a previous boat and really liked it. For the last boat, which was a 17' Arima, I think it was an 11lb Bruce anchor. What size would you guys recommend for the 22' revenge?

While it appears the 11 lb anchor can handle 18'-25' boats, I typically go up one size for safety. Consider a 16 lb if you will be overnighting or have decent seas.

I used a 11 lb on my Outrage 17 with 4' of 3/8" chain in Maine.
