Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Early Outrage Bow Chock/Light Details

I'm looking for a close up photo, and any information, on the light/chock combination used on the early 70's 19's. The light is different than those used on newer boats. I looked at a boat this morning, but the light was more or less rotted off, of what looks to be a more or less typical chock assembly.

After a bit more research, I found a discussion of the light in question http://www.whalercentral.com/forum/vi...rowstart=0 I still would like to know the maker of the light, so if you have one, maybe the information is stamped on the inside of the light.

Both my 1971 and my 1975 Outrages' have the standard bow light that everyone is familiar with, and now being reproduced by Specialty Marine.. I guess the "puck" light fell between those years, most likely beginning in Aug 1972 with the introduction of the Smoothside 21 and the 19.

I don't have any other information on the puck light, and have never seen one.

I'm looking for a light that is not in the "puck" style, and it is different than the 2nd light in the older thread that I referred to-The boat I looked at this morning is in untouched original condition, but rough. I was just curious to see if anyone had ever seen this version of the bow chock, light.

Walter,

I am confused on which light you are looking at.

What light are you referring too?
Any photo?

Went to look at the bow light in question this morning, and it is the "puck" style, just like the one pictured in the old discussion.
