When I bought my Outrage 25 full transom boat new back in 1989, I ordered the Mills Mooring cover with the purchase, a $1000 option. It lasted, with several instances of thread re-stitching, 27 years! Not bad. There is nothing like Pacific Blue Sunbrella for a boat cover.

I just had Mills make me a replacement one, since they have the pattern in their computer database. This time it was $2200., but it is a real fine work of art and fits beautifully, once again. It required some custom work around the radar arch verticals. You would need that with a tee top also.

You can see what a Mills cover looks like in the attachment below.

I'm sure you can get one cheaper, but it will only last about 5 years if not made from Sunbrella. This Mills cover requires no snaps drilled into the hull, nor strapping to a trailer frame, etc.

Larry,

Jim's trailer cover is coming due soon for some comprehensive re-stitiching. I am on the fence about just putting the money into a Mills mooring cover instead. So a couple questions about your cover (and my apologies to the o.p)

Why under the bow rails rather than over?

How does it attach with no snaps drilled?

Can you trailer on the highway without removing the cover?

Thanks, John
