After reviewing the 2005 Montauk 170 console assembly drawing on http://www.bostonwhaler.com/boat-owne...resources/, I can clearly see the L trim piece (part #1020924)

My advice is the clean the backside of the trim and the base of the console and reapply small dabs of adhesive.
