Hi Phil, I also recently bought a new Loadrite. When I ordered the trailer I upgraded to the heatshrink electrical connectors but was not happy the way they were used. For a heatshrink connector to keep out water only one wire on each side of the connector can be used. On my trailer quite a few connectors had 2 wires in one side of the connector and there was a gap between the wire and shrunk tubing. I used some liquid electrical tape to properly seal the gap which will keep out the water much better. Other than that the trailer is great.
