Anybody have a tankless water heater on their boat? Any input appreciated. Thanks

I have one at the house. If the venting is similar with the marine line....a pretty slick operation. I am one that likes as little flame on a boat as possible though.

Had a friend who put one on a trawler because of the positive results in his house but the house was gas and the boat required either shore power or the generator running so he went back conventional.

Google "hot water for your Whaler" and about 8 hits down will be a link to another Whaler site with some discussion started by Buckda three years ago.

I'm the one who introduced the Zodi to Buckda and dfmcintyre. The Zodi I have is here http://zodi.com/hot-showers/hot-tap-w...-with-case

Used it for many years when I was camping with my 2 boys for up to 7 days at a time in very remote areas on the Great Lakes. It packs up into that red container that's about 12 X 14 inches then neatly stores in the forward hold or the well in the stern of a 1984 Outrage 22.
