what is the best readily available material to use? im going to scavenge some dock foam now. if anyone has another suggestion that would be awesome. thanks in advance.

To set the boat on? Any wood 6x6 or similar would work. You could pad the top with carpet, foam ect. if you wanted. Put the weight mostly on keel and rest on chines of course.

Are you asking how to get it off your trailer or how to keep it off the ground?

Old tires ??? I set mine on a set of rims and tires covered in rug

Before I add my suggestions, one question:

Why do you need to move the boat off the trailer? Short or long term?
