Hi I am trying to clean up my personal page, deleting duplicate photographs and threads. Also trying to add notes to pictures already posted. I find this site confusing ! Any suggestions welcome.

Did you go back and read the tutorial?

Yes a couple of times, no mention of deleting just run up 30 pictures then what ? I figured out how to put in text but it did not show up on the picture. I am just trying to delete duplicates now and add comments so they appear on the pictures. The pictures had comments on them when I uploaded them to the site?

I had a little bit of problems with personal page as well, I'll try to help.

Go to edit personal page, then edit.

I think I just backspaced to delete images

If you want text above picture, insert a blank space between pictures and then type in text above the url link for the picture.

Once you get to 30, I think you have to manually go in and delete pictures.

Preview final edit and/or save.

Hopefully this makes sense. Joe will probably chime in to help.

Best regards,
Doug

Cary

I went over to the right column where my profile is and clicked on edit Personal Page and after clicking to agree to the disclaimer was sent to a window very much like this Reply window, except the contents of my Personal Page was loaded onto it.

This is really some basic stuff to edit it. If you want to delete a picture right click and drag to select the picture link, then right click/delete.

If you want to add text click in front or at the end of an image link and click enter a couple of times to make space to enter the text lines.

I strongly suggest you first right click, drag and highlight the entire Personal Page and save it, (right click/copy), before you try fiddling around. Save it as a text file or paste it in an email to yourself.

Thinks, the drop and drag seems to work. I am not a computer wiz and over 75 but Finnegan's personal page on photobucket is great!

Captions on pick's like Picasa has is nice. I'll work on my page this weekend and thanks!!
