Am brand new to this website as I just purchased a 1981 13' Sport model with a 40 Yamaha.
The boat has no trolling motor and I would like to mount one for fishing here in the Galveston, TX area. I have found some pics on this site with boats that have stern mounted trolling motors.
Not sure which mounting would be best and most functional from fishing a standpoint - stern or bow?
Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone else have any pictures of bow mounted trolling motors on a 13' model?
The 1981 13' that I have has a bow railing. As I understand, this was installed after market by the previous owner so I guess it is a "custom" 13' and not a 13' Sport after all.
Pictures of any 13's with bow railings and a bow mounted trolling motor would be great.
