The boat seems to be structurally in fairly good shape. It has the two wooden bench seats and side console, which all need replacing (along with the bow anchor locker). I'm going to keep the boat pretty stock, replacing the interior with Specialty Marine's mahogany kit or going with the starboard material. I'm sure there are some dings, dents and gouges that need repairing -- and the bottom needs painting -- but I'm still trying to decide whether to trailer the boat back to Winston-Salem this winter, do some/most of the work myself or just get somebody in Wilmington to work on the boat there. Finally, the boat needs a new/used outboard, but I'll deal with that last. The goal is to have the boat ready to use by next Spring.
