Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me which side to locate a small 'get you home' outboard ? Manual says you should be able to see impressions where the pads locate, but can't see any clues on ours.

Maybe best to make a thin plywood saddle to be on the safe side ?

Thanks,

Anthony

(moderator note: please follow guideline #1 on the front page and tell us the full 4 digit year)

Look in our Downloads section under "Installation Parts and Breakdown Sheets" and scroll down to Pony Bracket Installation Instructions 15' models on page 2.

By not giving us the year of your boat, we have no idea if there might be changes from one year to the next.

Many thanks for that pointer, Joe. Shows it to be mounted on the port side.

Yes, sorry, should have said the boat's a 1989, if that makes any difference.
