Were you talking of the main engine or the trolling motor? On the main engine, the aluminum bracket is a manual setback jackplate, that make changing the engine height a lot easier.
For the cooler, if you're talking of the one under the seat, it's held by bungee cords like the one in front of the console but the RPS is raised 3". The previous owner did a really neat job with the risers, made of FRP channels.
