After a long winters rest, I fired up and put a few more miles on my 1978 13' Sport today Amazing how those little boats make you still feel like a little kid. I shed about 30 years when I'm out in that boat.

I removed the deck on my 1983 GTX-18 so I could get a good look at the fuel lines. I think its time to replace the filler, vent and engine lines this year. I did start it in the slip and ran her for about 10 minutes. She sounded good but she's grounded until I get the new fuel hoses installed and reinstall the deck. At least the wood on that deck was still in good shape. The top of the fuel tank at the fuel pickup assembly had a interesting layer of black goop. It might have been about to spawn a new life form. :)
