I have a very nice 1999 Conquest 21 in the FL Panhandle. Yamaha 2 stroke power and electronics aplenty. She was a rare find. My career has taken off and I don't spend as much time tending to her as necessary. She stays on a lift behind the house on the bayou, and there are a number of deferred items on which I just can't make progress. Some minor gelcoat dings, a small fiberglass repair. The T-top feet on the foredeck is somehow getting water into the headliner, causing horrible staining and mildew. Cushions are mostly toast. I would be willing to roll her into someone's shop or marina, with a penchant for Whalers, and let them have at it. Any suggestions...marinas? private people?

Given your location there should be many folks willing to take on your project. Perhaps you should drop into Legend and talk to the service manager to learn where they job their fiberglass work out. If they have an in-house person maybe he could use the extra income of coming over to your place and doing some work on your boat on a pay-by-the hour basis. There are plenty of small shops around your area that would probably love to have the work, as well. Bring your checkbook.

Try Eric Thomalson in port st joe @ 850-527-7901. He just finished my outrage and its perfect! Had bottom cleaned and repaired, painted, fresh console, gauges....Has been doing it for years, price is fair and he does all the work himself. He has done 2 boats for me and very professional.
Dont take it to the boat yard in freeport!! I went there 1st and its a joke for craftsmanship.
