Is anyone aware of a source for original Whaler Vinyl seat material? I am restoring a 1985 Montauk and need to replace the helm seat, rod holder covers, and cooler seat cover. I would like to match the original vinyl. Is this still available?

One of our Sponsors sells the RPS Cushion in Parchment with Dark Brown Piping just like the originals at a good price.

You can try local cushion makers too.

I haven't seen any local cushion makers across the country that have the 1 inch Heat Seal material in the Parchment color like original.

When I had a new RPS cushion made my upholsterer, who has been in the boat and auto upholstry business for 35+ years, didn't have a source for the original material either.

It must be hard to find but one of our Sponsors I noted above does have it.

I don't want to short change any of our other Sponsors but I have looked and can't find that any of our other Sponsors have the cushions in the 1 inch heat seal Parchment in color with Dark Brown Piping.

The material I had my seat recovered with looks exactly the same except I picked a lighter color.
