There are pictures on my personal page of the seat I made for my custom. I wanted a place for rigging fishing rods and cutting bait but it workes quite well as a seat. I chose painted long leaf yellow pine because It goes against my grain to throw a flopping fish down on a varnished surface. This seat can just as well be made from varnished mahogany or teak. It is very strong and held in place by a 1" strip of Velcro on each side and is easily removable. Hope this helps
