Does the Moeller 24 gallon gas tank fit an 2006 Montauk 170 with no adjustments? Does the gas line connection on the tank fit the existing gas line on the boat?

The tank will fit. You must change the tie down fittings. I have a 170. I decided not to install the larger tank because I put life preservsers to the side and above my tanks. Otherwise they'd have to go in the center console and I don't have enough room there.
