i have a 98 Outrage 17 with a upholstered reversible pilot bench seat (RPS). the backrest has a single arm on each side which swings through a plastic guide mounted at the ends of the bench seat. Not sure what happened but one of the plastic guides developed crack. This plastic is common in boating but i have no idea what the name of it is and it would be doable if i had a drawing but the simplest would be to buy the part used or aftermarket. Pls let me know if you have any ideas where i could get one. thanks

Pictures enclsoed, should perhaps add it to the parts library

I would contact Sue Lodell, Parts Manager at Twin Cities (master whaler dealer) and she will get it sorted. They are a site sponsor. Follow the link for the listing under site sponsors on the upper right part of the page.

thanks for he idea, I did contact her and the price was out of my range and they sell it as a pair. in fact you should be able to buy an RPS for that price.

Need to find another solution, thanks for your ideas.

Do you still have a manufacturers tag under your RPS seat?

I believe it was made by GG Schmitt & Sons, Lancaster PA. & Bradenton FL.
