Happy New Year, everyone!

I have an '81 Montauk and am looking for a new windshield. Does anyone know where to purchase a replacement?

Thanks.

While a local fabricator can make one using the old one, UPD Plastics offers them as well.

Digging up an old thread so I don't start a new one...couldn't find anything using the Search function.

Does anyone know the correct tint used by BW for a 1987 classic Montauk windshield? Mine is cracked and I want to order a replacement from UPD Plastics. I believe the Bronze tint was used by the factory, but not sure which level of tint. Here is the link: http://updplastics.com/Boston_Whaler_Montauk_1987_17ft.htm

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Light Bronze, #2404 if you want to match the original.

I ordered one from UPD in October for my 15' sport CC. At the time they said it would be 7-8 weeks. I need to check back on its progress.

Thank you Dennis. Seems a bit strange that you haven't yet received your windshield. Please reply and let me know what they say after you speak with UPD.

UPD PLASTICS TAKE FOREVER, I just ordered mine 2 or 3 weeks ago and told me it would take 6 weeks! So I'll see if mine is done in a couple more weeks!

There is a guy in South Carolina that will make you a windshield for $90 http://wilmington.craigslist.org/boa/...90899.html

We had the dark bronze made by UDP, thicker size. Not original, but looks awesome, and the thicker plexiglas should hold up better with the kids. Did take about 6-8 weeks, and they aren't the most customer friendly folks around.
