Hey guys first post. I am almost finished rebuilding my 18' Outrage deck and am going from single motor to twin's. Should I run all the wires I can before I put the deck down? Or is it fairly easy to pull them thru?
Thanks
Erick

It's fairly easy to pull them thru with a helper but I would still run everything you can before putting the floor back down.
One trick is to always leave a pull rope in the tunnel. That way next time you have to pull something thru by yourself, it makes it easier.
I have 2 pull ropes which are made out of 1/8" or so nylon cord... One rope is always in the tunnel and the spare one is ready to tie to anything I am going to pull thru. Then that pull rope will remain in the tunnel. etc....

Hi as Joe said it's easier with the deck off and also putin the pull cords for later

Have heard you don't want to use any type of ties or wrap to bundle wiring or cables. It may make it impossible to remove them down road and makes it more difficult to pull a new or replacement. It may be difficult to keep everything in place while putting the deck down?

Good trick Joe, I will try that approach. I guess with twin motors with twin wires I better put as much wire thru as as I can.
Thanks

Do as much as you can with the deck up. be careful about keeping the wires untwisted as you lay them in the tunnel. It is good to put at least one or two pull cords under the deck when you have it up. I put them in the rigging tunnel and between the fill/vent access and the console. This one is very handy, if you ever want to run speakers.
I assume that you have replaced your fill and vent hoses while you have the deck up.

I got a vent hose the other day from Napa but they did not have the fill hose. 1 1\2 inch x 3.5 ft I need. I might know of a place locally that does specialty hoses if not internet I go.
While I work on getting the hoses I think it is time to mount the Jack plates.
