Well, we are getting very close to the 10,000 members mark.
A few minutes ago we hit 9,900 and then 9,901

We have 99 members to go and counting down....

We here at WhalerCentral are amazed at how this site is growing.

Just goes to show how popular the site is, with total support of the administrators, and knowledgeable Boston Whaler Owners. Its been a real pleasure for me, only increased by the Whaler Get-to-Gather we had on Memorial day weekend. Here's to 10,000 and beyond!

Not only good to see the website getting close to 10,000 members, but its also good to see these new members participating on the threads. New blood is always good, and brings a fresh prospective to the site. Looks like kamie will be the first to reach 1,000 posts, hard to close in on her. She has so much Whaler knowledge to share.

A couple of weeks now........ B)

Actually, you can look at my profile and the date I added myself was March 18, 2005.
We went live about a week or two after that as we had to test everything out first. I beat up on the software and our modifications to make sure everything was set to go.

So, a little more that 3 years WhalerCentral.com as we know it today has been online.
Before that, Mike had the site for 2 years using straight .html and no forums.
I also had my drawings site several years before Mike and I joined forces.

So, I have been thinking about the fact that I no longer have the Blue_Northern name on the Montauk. I guess I need to create a new account at 9,999 and be the 10,000 member and use a new handle. Yeah Right! I have to much in the form of PM, Post, etc... to use a new handle. Really it only means something to those of us that have been around for some time.

Thank you Jeff, Joe, Mike, and Tom for creating and maintaining such a great outlet for Whaler owners and fans! :D

Well, we made it to 10,000 members today, Monday July 14, 2008

Here are the stats for the last several months.

August 16, 2007 = 6,000 members
