So, within the past week I have had to upgrade my phone for work to a Motorola Q and my wife dropped her phone in the toilet so, we upgraded her to an Iphone. I have got to say I have found the Iphone to be much better for viewing the site (I am a mac lover any way). Infact with the Iphone it is just like viewing it on my computer. The Q, well it all looks foreign and difficult to navigate. Has anyone found a good way to view the site with a windows based PDA? Either through different settings on the phone or through a downloadable app?

Jeff,

I don't know about other PDA's and unfortunately I can't use an iPhone in my neck of the woods.

For some information and forums about Apple computers (besides Apple of course) take a look at Joe's Computers & Weather Cams...

no good way I am afraid. I have a blackberry that I use for work and it is really painful to view the site, just too much going on. All the things that make me love the site on the computer are painful on a PDA.

I think your wife had the best idea Jeff. In the toilet with it. :D

Ya thanks guys. I would have an Iphone if I could however, because of my job I have to have the Motorola products. I guess I will just surf with her phone when I can.

To be honest, I've had my eye on the Q for a while. But, I'd use it more for email and contact management. Having an appointment book built into my phone might be kind of handy. Worth a try anyway.
I'm surprised you can view WC with the Iphone.
I thought it would take a lot of work on Joe's part to make WC accessable to hand held devices.
Good luck with it Jeff.

So,

For my 1000th posting I am making my first post on a mobile device (Motorola Q). I have finally figured out how to view WC on it and have it look like it does on a computer. I am not sure if Blackberrys are the same but with the Moto products if you go into the browser settings and set the device as a desktop computer and not a mobile device, Wc will load up great! So here is to technology and many more unproductive hours of surfing along with untold misspellings!

iPhone!! I was playing with a friends from work, way cool. First thing I did was to checkout WC to see how it would look. If it didn't look good, I was not going to get one. I am off as soon as the AT&T store opens this morning :)

Well kamie,

Did you get the iPhone today?
It is 3:30 your time......

I want an iPhone in the worst way but we do not have AT&T in our area.
I am looking at the hack options on the iPhone but they are not out yet for the latest 1.1.3 version of the iPhone software.

No one in my area has an iPhone so I cannot see what WC looks like using one.
