Hello,

I recently purchased a 1998 Boston Whaler Outrage 20 with a 2003 Yamaha 200 HPDI. I plan on repowering the boat eventually and i had a few questions:

I want to take the boat to the bahamas and offshore every so often. I was wondering if anyone here has ever thought about putting twins on the back of their 20 outrage.

Another thing to factor in is the need for a bracket. I would have to get one if decided to purchase twins. Has anyone put a bracket on one of these boats

After taking the boat out I noticed it proposed when it was trimmed up to the optimal level and when trimmed it down it was hard to steer even with hydraulic. (maybe it was just how the boat handles chop) does anyone experience anything like this?

If i got a bracket I would fill in the transom. Would this help the porpoising problem and how much will the positive flotation due to the handling of the boat. Are their any other benefits/concerns to doing this? Thanks
