I have a 1964 Sakonnet 16' Whaler. I have recently moved to Florida and a top for sun protection would be nice. It doesn't have one now. Is there any place I could buy one?

Florida is full of places to get a top. Many places will make you a custom one. You can try Craigslist or Facebook for a used one. Carver makes a nice top at a good price, not sure about shipping.

If you are looking for a retractable T Top.

Go to Oceansouth.us They sell a T top that goes up to use and down for garage type storage. About $200.

The company is in Coral Springs Florida. I have the 53" X 41" size one on my 17' 1979 Montauk.

The radio antenna and lights on mounted on it. Very easy to install and use. It goes up or down in about 10 minutes.

The OEM supplier is Mills Canvas. They make a high quality bimini that was a dealer accessory. Warning. It is pricey.

Carver and Westland make high quality tops that are more affordable.

Spend the money on stainless steel fittings.
