I have a 1983 Montauk. A few years ago, I purchased a replacement bench seat from, I believe, a small vendor. I also purchased, from the same vendor, some spacers to bring the bench seat higher in order to clear the height of acement fuel tanks.

I am very pleased with the vendor, especially in making up the bench seat.

This year, I noticed that the nylon,or plastic edge guard has split. Not sure why. I would like to replace the edge guard.

As it was a while back, I do not have a record of the purchase of the bench seat.

Does anyone know the name of the vendor? I think the vendor was a small company. The workmanship on the bench seat was second to none.

If there is another source for the edge guard, I appreciate knowing about it. However, I would like to have the edge guards match in configuration/shape.

The "edge guards" are actually there for shipping. Many just dont' take them off.

I am sure Tena at Anderson's can send you some.
