Hi Folks:
I am new here and a new, first-time Whaler owner. Does anyone have a 2019 or 2020 Whaler Super Sport 130? I just bought one ( 2020 Whaler Super Sport 130 ) and am looking suggestions for rod holders. I would prefer to not drill into the hull and would thus prefer suggestions for ones that clamp onto the interior rails or ones that can be clamped on the hull, transom, etc.
Also, any suggestions for outfitting, storage, etc.
Thanks.

West Marine sells good quality clamp-on rod holders in stainless steel. They are frequently offered at sale prices. I've used them for 20+ years on our Boston Whalers side rails. Another location may be better for your Whaler.
A good quality storage/towing cover is a useful addition to your new Whaler. I recommend a Sunbrella cover from Carver Industries. They fit well and have a good warranty. They are, IMO, a good value as well. They may be a sponsor on this site.
Use 303 Aerospace Protectant to maintain the vinyl upholstery on your Whaler. They also market a fabric protectant that is recommended for Sunbrella fabric.
Take good care of the trailer. Maintain the proper tire pressure and look after the wheel bearings. The trailer should be carefully rinsed after each use in salt water.

"Fish-On rod holders are the ultimate. Rail mount, side mount, flush mount at your choice. 360 rotation and 90 degree up and down. Put them on a rail and move them to your next boat. I've had them on 4 boats now.
